Natasha Bedingfield engaged

Pop singer Natasha Bedingfield has announced her engagement to long-time boyfriend, California businessman Matt Robinson.

The recording artist, best known for her songs Unwritten and Pocketful of Sunshine, announced to guests at a surprise performance at a New York City nightclub that she had accepted Robinson’s marriage proposal.

The following day, the 26-year-old showed off her ring at the Calvin Klein 40th anniversary party in New York.

“It just happened,” she said. “But I am so excited, and it happened in New York. And I want to share it with the world.

She and Robinson, who have been dating for two years, have not started making wedding plans yet.

“We haven’t thought about a date. We’re just celebrating.

“I’m the luckiest girl in the world.”
