No sign of Peaches at husband’s gig
Peaches Geldof’s husband Max Drummey has kicked off his UK tour - but his new bride wasn’t in sight.
The guitarist made no mention of Peaches or their Las Vegas wedding as he played with his band Chester French at Sheffield Academy.
The 23-year-old left all the talking to his musical partner and singer DA Wallach.
Geldof and Drummey’s shock wedding ceremony has already been labelled a publicity stunt after they tied the knot on August 13 following a whirlwind romance.
The pair first met a year ago and were together for little over a month before getting hitched.
Peaches’ father Bob was informed of the wedding plans just before the short ceremony took place.
A spokesman for Peaches said her father gave the union his blessing despite not being able to walk his daughter down the aisle.
Chester French raced through a 40-minute set as they supported the US rock/hip-hop outfit NER*D.
