The original artwork for The Rolling Stones’ iconic lip and tongue logo has been bought by a London museum.
Officials working for the Victoria and Albert (V+A) museum purchased the piece in the US for GBP51,375.
The logo, designed in 1970 by artist John Pasche, has been used as the band’s emblem ever since.
Pasche sold the artwork to the V+A, who jointly bought the piece with charity The Art Fund.
