Sex And The City star Cynthia Nixon to star in UK TV drama

Sex And The City star Cynthia Nixon will star in a new drama series about writer Quentin Crisp.
The actress will play Crisp’s close friend, performance artist Penny Arcade, in An Englishman in New York.
It is a follow-up to The Naked Civil Servant, and British actor John Hurt will reprise his role as Crisp.
American actor Denis O’Hare, who plays Rob Lowe’s manager in the series Brothers and Sisters, will play a magazine editor.
The drama will screen on ITV1 next year.
