Ugly Betty star joins Wallpaper cast

Ugly Betty star Alan Dale will be joining Kelly Brook in the new series of ITV1 comedy, Moving Wallpaper.
The pair will play the stars of zombie drama spoof Renaissance, which is being made by Moving Wallpaper’s fictional producer, Jonathan Pope.
They replace Jason Donovan and Martine McCutcheon, who both appeared in spoof soap Echo Beach, Moving Wallpaper’s companion show.
Renaissance will be screened as a one-off, unlike Echo Beach which ran alongside the ITV sitcom but was axed because of poor ratings.
Kelly has said previously: “Moving Wallpaper is a great show to be involved in. It’s also my first acting role for quite some time.”
The sitcom is due to be broadcast in early 2009.
